Imagine change. Oatmeal every day …

I never knew oatmeal was so beneficial.

I’m lazy. For years, breakfast has meant a bowl of cereal with almond milk, and a cup of black coffee. That’s it. Well, I’m changing that. Oatmeal is easy to make, and I can add fruit, honey, even peanut butter to make it more nutritious, tasty, and satisfying.

Oatmeal is also an excellent pre-ride meal. So, on the days I do longer rides, I’ll start with a bowl. Together with intermittent fasting, a bowl will  make me leaner, and healthier.

Or, so I’m told.

  1. Quaker Oats, mixed with berries, banana,pear, and apple have been my staple breakfast everyday for the past 5 yrs.
    Not sure wether it does any good,medical opinion is divided,some say the starch in oats is bad for the immune system,and the fruit is loaded with sugar,also bad for you,so who knows?
    All I know is I enjoy it and really miss it when we’re away and it’s not available.
    Bar advice I’ve been given is as with most things everything is fine in moderation,but I do keep clear of highly processed anything with more than 5 ingredients.
