I’m a cycling aficionado.
I bike for fitness, and encourage others of all ages, shapes, and sizes to do the same. I tell them it is good for their health, good for the environment, and more than anything, fun.
I enjoy being out on a bike exploring and challenging myself to longer distances, and steeper climbs. Riding gives me a wonderful sense of freedom, the ability to go where I want, when I want. There are no traffic jams. No waits. I keep moving, exploring new routes, and talking with like minded cyclists along the way.
I have cycled for 50 years – touring, training, racing, and commuting. In fact, I enjoy cycling today as much, perhaps even more, than I did decades ago. I’m fitter, stronger, and faster than I was as a 20 year old. I have 3 bikes I ride regularly – a full carbon racing steed, a custom steel touring bike, and a custom All Road steel frame bike.
I have enjoyed a lifetime of cycling, and I hope to inspire you to spend more time outside on 2 wheels.

Thanks for the reblog!
My pleasure. Good work.
Thanks for visiting and following my blog, much appreciated 🙂
Thanks for visiting and following my blogs and liking my about “page”. Although our diet philosophies are quite different we are both passionate about cycling and about quenching our thirst with a good local beer! Ride on!
Nice to meet you. Cycling, coffee and beer seem to go hand in hand for many. Thanks for visiting.
Hi,
Came across your blog today. I love the spirit and passion for cycling you share. I look forward to reading your posts. Best, Steve
Thanks Steve.
Glad I found your blog. Will be back to explore more.
Thank you. I look forward to seeing you again.
Your passion comes across in your site and I like passionate people. Have a good Easter!
Thank you. It’s true. I am passionate about cycling and most everything else I do.
I see you are an architect. I am already a fan. The noblest of all work. I’m off to have a look at your work.
Thank you for the interest. Yes I am a young architect indeed but the times are difficult, at least here in London… That is why being passionate is important, I would’ve given it up a while ago if it hadn’t been for passion. Thanks again for stopping by!
Just looking at your art work right now. I love the recycled glass! And the pastels. You’re gifted.
Thank you so much for your kind words! It’s been a while since I’ve painted on any kind of surface. I really must get back into it…
You seem like an accomplished young woman – art, music and writing. The stuff good architects are made of. Keep it up.
Thank you so much. You have no idea how motivating your words are in moments of doubt like these. Thank you, and I shall keep it up!
Whenever you need an antidote, please reach out. If you weren’t an ocean and continent away, I would have a project for you.
Oh no, don’t tempt me! What would that be? Thanks for the support though, I’ll keep it in mind.
Thank you for visiting my blog! I appreciate it very much. 🙂
My pleasure. You do nice work 🙂
Hi there, seems you mentioned me somewhere on your blog but can’t see it anywhere quickly. Thank you for doing so though. I hope your cycling adventures keep going strong. Greetings Cindy
Hi Cindy. I have been following your blog for some time now, and really like your photography, not to mention your adventures. Keep it up and happy cycling.
Hi PedalWORKS,
Thanks, nice to hear. More shorter adventures will come once it is warmer outside. Until then, I write a bit about here and now, about kickbiking (cycling not anymore) and what I am up to (creative wise). Now, it is waiting until the spring arrives and I am out. Just like many others, I reckon. Greetings Cindy
