
We have had a record breaking winter. Relentless rain. I hadn’t been on a bike outside for 6-7 weeks. Instead, I have been in the gym lifting, and spinning. This week that changed.
It has been sunny for almost a week. Cold. But sunny. I have been layering up, and heading out.
What a difference.
So much more fun. So much healthier. And such a better workout. Hills to climb. Fast descents. Straightaways to sprint.
Spring is in the air 😃
I’m just finishing up a 2 month Build Block, focusing on lactate threshold intervals. In March, I’ll focus on longer rides in preparation for the first century event of the year in April.
