I am tempted. I have been thinking and talking about it for a couple of years now. I figure I’m old enough that even if I regretted it I wouldn’t have to regret if for too long 😃
That’s cool. I’m at the point where I want to put it. I’ve thought of the calves but I would never see them. Instead, thinking of the forearm(s).
I’m going to put mine on the inner arm, just above the wrist. A small, black tattoo which is just the outline of a bicycle (like you see painted on the road in bike lanes, e.g.). My bike symbolizes a lot of things to me, including recovery from illness and freedom of movement! A think a celebratory tattoo would be appropriate 🙂
That’s wonderful Leslie. I can’t think of a better reason. Like you, cycling means many things to me and has been a dominant for in my life for 40 years. I started because I wanted, no needed, to lose weight. Now it is my mental health antidote. I always feel so much better after a spin on my bike. Let me know when you get the tattoo. I’d like to see it.
That’s really something — to have cycled for 40 years! I cycled for about 20 years, then didn’t for about the same length of time. So happy to have started again a few years ago! It’s a huge mental health antidote. I’ll definitely let you know when I get the tattoo — it’ll have to wait until I find a job but I hope that won’t take too long 🙂
I’m sure you’ll let us know if/when you get yours!
I do too.
This is gorgeous. So simplistic and so symbolic. Are you tempted…?

Hahaha, take that back right now! 😀
Well for what it’s worth, I approve of this tattoo. It’s so minimalistic yet so topical.
I’d want a cargo bike tattoo instead.
Let’s do it 😎
I’d love to get a bike tattoo!
Me too. Let’s do it.
I saw a photo of a guy who had LOVE tattooed on one calf muscle and VELO tattooed on the other. Brilliant!

Good luck with the job hunting. What do you do?
Thanks! Office administration/executive assistant jobs, primarily.
