Words are insufficient.
I have taken hundreds of photographs this summer to document my travels across the continent and time spent at the cottage. Here are a few that capture the spirit of the experience. They are not in any particular order. Some are from the DashCam I had mounted in the car while driving. Some are from the WindowCam I had mounted in the front window at the cottage. And others were taken with my iPhone while on my bikes.

I have heard it said that “Home is where the heart is”. I have moved and travelled a lot in my life. The cottage is the one constant. Since the age of 7 I have spent time there. Holidays. Long weekends. And, in recent years, more extended stays. I keep thinking of selling (I live a long way away) but just can’t bring myself to parting with it.
Don’t ever sell that. Except if you sell it to me 🙂 I can only imagine how beautiful it is there.
I have said I would only sell it to someone I know, like, and respect 🙂

Well, I’m considering cycling across, perhaps next spring. West to east with the wind. I’d welcome an experienced cyclist 🙂

I tried my best to pick a favorite picture out of these but I just can’t-there are too many lovely ones. And of course I couldn’t choose one that had Chas or Lou in it, that would be unfair to the other bicycle!
