Across North Dakota into Montana …

Started out cold (47 F), wet, and windy (gusts to 50 mph)

Ended warm, sunny, and pleasant.

Trucks of all types and sizes travel the interstate highways.

    • It’s fun. Gives me something to think about. I have taken over 300 pictures so far, and several are good (I think). They call this part of the country “big sky” for a good reason.

      • I bet it does. Do you drive in silence or listen to music? I’ve always wanted to go on a road trip similar to yours and listen to special playlists I would’ve created for the occasion. ๐Ÿ˜€

      • I have a CD-player in the SUV that holds 6 CDs. On the way out, I listened to Michael Buble, Rod Stewart, Frank Sinatra, Elvis. All love ballads. I hadn’t listened to this music in a long time. I found it relaxing and uplifting ๐Ÿ™‚ On the way back, I haven’t played a single CD, preferring the silence. Occasionally, I turn on the radio and listen to a public radio station (if I can find one) with feeds from the BBC or CBC. After 2 months away (and mostly on my own), I have grown comfortable with my own thoughts. I have a Jack Johnson CD (Sleep Through The Static) lying beside me right now. I may listen to it today, my last day on the road (for a while).
