DashCam – Day 2

Day 2 of the trip – Idaho and part of Montana.

I am fascinated with the big rigs, never ending blue skies, and billowy clouds. There is hardly a turn in the road.

Do you have a favourite?

#1 – a rare bend in the road

#2 – an unusually long rig

#3 – driving through a low hanging cloud in the early morning.

#4 – red is my favourite colour

#5 – a rig glistening in the sun

#6 – “No Payne No Gain” (wonder what this rig his hauling)

#7 – a lonely windmill

    • hmmm … I have a different view. I have cycled and hiked a lot on the BC logging roads. Even worked for a wood products company for years and had many opportunities to get on them. They are great on the weekends. During the week, the logging trucks race up and down the slopes. The truckers are paid by the load. The more trips they make in a day, the more money they take home. How they sustain high speeds on those roads I will never know. All I know is I don’t want to be in their path on a tight turn 🙂
