These are the boys I cycle with in all of their carbon glory; the bikes I ride with regularly. They are seldom in one place at once, but gathered last evening to celebrate a birthday. There is a Scott, a Cervelo, a BMC, and two Louis Garneau’s. All fine, fast rides, each with a different engine. My ride is on the far right.
I repaired my bike and I had a ride yesterday!! 🙂 It was the first biking-experience after a couple of years LOL 🙂 I thought you’d be happy to hear 😀
I am very happy to hear that 🙂 I don’t know if you read my previous post but I rode with a PhD student on Sunday and was reminded of you. She would have been about your age and working in a lab doing brain research. I took an immediate liking to her. She was smart, attractive, and a powerful cyclist. We rode together for almost 100 km, and in the end she beat me up the last climb. Keep pedalling 🙂
I didn’t read that one, I was very busy in the lab these days. I’ll read it, I’m curious to find out about her!
Mm mm. Awesome photos brother!
They look like expensive bikes. Looks like a nice place to get together and relax too.
They are. After we lined them up we figured they are worth ~ $35,000 to replace. Cycling can be expensive. We never pay full price, looking for used bikes and parts online.
I built that deck in the backyard a long time ago. It faces south, and gets a lot of use. Weather permitting, we eat dinner on it in the warmer months, and celebrate all of the family birthdays there.
