I sometimes prefer to walk. Last evening I had a soccer match to watch. I would normally cycle to the pitch but I wanted to stop at several of the bike shops on the way.
I walked the same route that I cycle when commuting to the office. When I walk, I stop more frequently. Stop to take pictures. Stop to talk with others. Stop to shop. Stop to eat. It is a slower, more enjoyable pace. It is not a workout.
I bike past BC Place, Rogers Arena and the Science Centre every day but never stop to photograph these landmark sites. They are remarkable in the setting sun.
Nice waterfront. It looks like it has a cool vibe.
Nice post, great photos.
Thanks. They were done with the iPhone. I am amazed how good the camera is.
I KNOW! I really dig the “chrome” setting for snapping pictures of the bikes. They really did a great job with the new cameras.
I love walking too, usually it gives me a chance to read a book and meditate in a different way than I do while cycling hard.
