It has been 2 months since I setup my cycling computer to work on each of my three bikes. And, since that time, I have been careful to snap it on for each and every ride making certain I reset the wheel diameter each time. During this period, I have travelled 2,142 km, perhaps more because there were a few occasions I forgot to take it along. That’s averaging ~ 1,000 km each month. And, this does not include my January-May rides which were considerable as I prepared to the Pacific Populaire in April.
That’s not bad for someone is that 3rd stage of life. It doesn’t seem like an effort. It just happens. It is what I do. I ride. I ride to the office. I ride to shop. I ride for pleasure. And, I ride to train. 250 km per week. Sometimes more.
It is what I do. It is who I am it seems.
Gotta love it man, I’ve been putting in some silly miles too – they’re much needed to with work lately.
