I understand the weather is going to be nice the next several weeks. You have timed your trip well.
I know of Paul Dragan. In fact, my son worked for him at Reckless at one point while he was at university. This is terrible incident. I bike past Science World on the way home from the office and, on the day of the shooting, it was cordoned off and cyclists had to circumvent the attraction on the east side for 2 days.
Our prayers are with Paul and his family. I haven’t heard anything new but understand he is stable.
Our place is down the street from bike shop. Dearie was working on computer at home, when he learned a loud explosion. Guess gunshot is loud.
He had no clue what had happened, but he merely went out…for his daily bike ride and discovered a ton of police cars, cordoned area, etc.
Every time I’m in Vancouver, I always visit Reckless to browse. I bought 2 of my bikes from Reckless.
I understand he was shot in the stomach.

Strange small world, about your son also having worked at Reckless.
I know. He is shaken up about it. I often stop at that Starbucks on the way home after a ride. Hope Paul is ok.
