Confessions of a road cyclist

I have a confession to make.

I cycle to work wearing bib shorts.  I find them more comfortable and, because I take a circuitous route home working in a few climbs and descents, I like to pedal unimpeded.  The thing is.  I do not take them off during the day.  I simply pull on a pair of slacks and polo shirt when I get to the office and no one is any the wiser.  They are warm, do not restrict my movement in any way and are supportive.  I think I know what it feels like to wear a girdle.

Am I the only one?

  1. Helluva confession, I suppose I can think of two issues, smell and fungal growth. But other than that I wouldn’t have a problem with it….

  2. Not my thing but hey, if you find it comfortable 🙂 . But I am a boxers man so would find cycle shorts too constrictive when not cycling (I often wear board shorts when mountain biking)
