I am drawn to extremes. The extreme adventures of others.
In 2008-2011, the Vogel family bicycled from Prudhoe Bay, Alaska to Usuaia, Agentina, a distance of over 17,000 miles. This is a remarkable feat for anyone but exceptional considering their two sons were teenagers at the time.
I followed the Family on Bikes blog throughout the trip and was continually inspired by their committment and ingenuity.
Nancy Vogel recently gave this inspirational talk at TEDxJacksonHole asking “What would you do if you were not afraid?”.
Watch and begin planning your next adventure.
