Eyetrackshop is in the business of tracking eye movements.  Their web-cam eye tracking product is used in a host of marketing studies including retail store windows and social media sites including LinkedIN.  The image to the left is part of a study completed recently to track what features of a LinkedIN Profile are most important to a viewer.  The areas colored red, yellow and green indicate where viewers look most frequently.  This suggests that your Picture, Name, Professional Heading and Current Position are the most important sections of your Profile not just to complete but to carefully craft so that your viewers continue to read your Profile and, hopefully, take action – invite you to “connect” or give you a call..
